And now the prevailing Howl

The WolfDog Howl...
the Online Newsletter about Wolf Dogs
and the Internet.

This part is about marketing and making money on the Internet.

You don't hear a lot about direct marketing in the business press or news publications these days, but things are happening all the time.

Most people never realize that Internet marketing is not just being in an Internet business. I'm not in an Internet Business per se, but rather, I use direct marketing via the Internet.

In other words, the Internet is just a medium in which I use direct marketing concepts to conduct business.

I could use direct marketing in other mediums like radio, TV, and mass publications. And last but not least, direct mail (i.e., snail mail).

Thus, when I say that I'm in Internet Marketing, what I really mean is, I'm using the Internet as a medium in which I can conduct business using direct marketing principles.

I'm not in the Internet business, I'm in the direct marketing business.

When you finally realize this, then you won't be like thousands and thousands of other so-called Internet Entrepreneurs who are struggling to make money online, when really they don't have a clue.

A wild howling began...

WolfDog Howl Newsletter Vol. 2 Issue 11

One of my passions has been studying animal behavior and as you can probably guess wolves and in particular wolf dogs ranks real high on my list.

Someone recently pointed out to me that the breed wolf dog is not really a breed of dog because there is no standard for the breed wolf dog. Well actually, this is both correct and incorrect and here's why:

First, all dogs, no matter what type of breeds, are nothing more than a subspecies of Canis Lupis or Gray Wolf. Thus the wolf dog, even though there is no standard is still a subspecies of the Gray Wolf. Secondly, because there are several different types of wolf dogs, namely wolf and German Shepherd, wolf and Malamute, and wolf and Husky, they are all still subspecies of the Gray Wolf. Therefore, as far as standards are concern they are correct, but as breeds they are incorrect for all wolf dogs, no matter which type of cross, are still subspecies of the Grey Wolf.

And by the way, the three types that I've just mentioned above are the only three types that I recommend as wolf dogs worth getting. Sure, sure, there are other types like wolf and Retriever, wolf and Collie, but I don't recommend them. Many people have been successful with these types; I simply don't recommend them.

Other types like wolf and Pit Bull, wolf and Chow, wolf and Doberman, wolf and Rottweiler, and others of this type--I highly DO NOT recommend. These types of animals are too extreme and severe in nature. I definitely would not get one these!

As far as behavior is concerned, the Chihuahua is an aggressive and highly unpredictable type of dog. But, because it is such a tiny breed of dog it does not have nearly as bad a reputation as wolf dogs. Moreover, I would not breed wolf and Chihuahua together, nor do I recommend doing so. Who knows, you just might create a monster?

But seriously folks, it is my dream, my mission to one day have a standard breed for wolf dogs. I sincerely hope that you will join me on that quest so that others will be able to enjoy how wonderful and devoted these animals can be. Yes, they can be dangerous, but so can any other breed of dog! Take the mighty Chihuahua for example.

If you have pictures of wolf dogs that you would like to share on my website. Then please, leave me a comment here, and I'll be in touch with you to arrange it. Thanks!

WolfDog Howl Newsletter Vol. 2 Issue 10

In this issue: Wolf Dogs and sugar problem.
The WolfDog Howl on Internet Marketing.

The WolfDog Howl...
the Online Newsletter about Wolf Dogs
and the Internet.

To all subscribers: A cheerful welcome to
the WolfDog Howl Newsletter!
A short and brief record about wolf dogs
and marketing on the Internet.

Veterinarians have warned that a commonly used sweetener might cause liver failure in dogs, and perhaps even kill them. According to a report in the Journal of the American Veterinary Medical Association there is evidence the sugar substitute xylitol can make dogs sick, and possibly cause liver failure. The sugar replacement Xylitol, a naturally occurring substance, is found in many sugar-free chewing gums, candies, baked goods and toothpastes.

The report gathered information on eight dogs treated between 2003 and 2005 after eating products containing xylitol. Each dog became ill, and five died or had to be put down because of liver failure, possibly from ingesting xylitol. One dog which had to be euthanized had eaten four large, chocolate-frosted muffins containing about 1 pound (0.45 kg) of xylitol.

People should be aware of this: dogs, especially wolf dogs, ingesting just small amounts of xylitol can trigger significant insulin release, which drops their blood sugar and can be fatal. A 22-pound (10-kg) dog that consumes just one gram (0.03 ounces) of xylitol could be in danger of liver failure.

Look folks, never give your wolf dog sweets of any kind! They don't need them.

Wolves in the wild only eat meat which is protein! Ditto for wolf dogs. Only feed them high protein dog food like I mentioned in my wolfdog ebook and raw meat like chicken. Use Pet Tabs for vitamins and minerals and that's all they need.

Be kind to your wolf dog and give it only what they need which is protein in the form of raw meat.
