An Important Message.
All readers should know that my experience with wolfdogs started way back in the middle to late sixties.
A friend of mine bred superior K9 animals (half wolf, half shepherd) for the police force. It should be obvious he had a captive female wolf, but it was not obvious that she had one eye missing and was practically blind in the other. Bless her heart though, she was a very beautiful and fertile animal.
Yes, Duchess and Gypsy were 52 percent wolf and 48 percent shepherd. And yes, Duchess and Gypsy were my female wolfdogs. But, I've experience with other wolves, and countless other wolfdogs that were not mine.
I also believe in the preservation of wolves. I strongly feel that the Carolinas should support wolf populations.
As you should know by now, all dogs are just sub-species of the Grey Wolf.
